In the morning, I met Kat where she was getting ready with bridesmaids at the Holiday Inn in Media City. With floor to ceiling windows, this was a great location for a wedding at the Lowry Theatre. There was some contemporary walnut features in the room that I used for the jewellery shots. Kat walked over to the Lowry Theatre through media city, accompanied by her Dad. The weather was amazing, and we were traded to picture perfect blue skies and fluffy white clouds.
The ceremony was in the hexagon room, which is flooded with lots of natural light and was decorated with bright coloured balloons and bunting, with the drinks reception in the circle bar afterwards. The drinks reception is a fab opportunity to get loads of natural photos of the couple and their guests as they chat over drinks.
The wedding breakfast was in the compass room, with table decor having a mexican theme to tie in with the couples planned honeymoon to Mexico. The bright colours looked amazing!
With Salford Quays being renowned for it’s sunsets, we had the opportunity for a sunset portrait of the couples, and after all the evening guests had arrived, Kat & Paul wowed guests and rocked the dance floor with a choreographed first dance.
