I provided 2.5 hours of photography coverage at this wedding at One Devonshire Gardens, with the couple recieving 300 wedding photos. I started by getting a few photos of the final stages of bridal preparations and finished up with a group photo of everyone before the tucked into the wedding breakfast in the Glenlivet room.
Bridal Preparations
The groom had arranged a surprise for the bride – a piper playing her favourite song. I wanted to get her reaction, and the groom had let me know in advance that there would be a surprise. Not everything needs to be discussed during the planning meeting, phonecall before the big day to let me know about any surprises like this helps ensure I can be in the right place to capture candid moments.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was in the Glenlivet room. The guests were arranged in a semi-circle, with the bride and groom exchanging vows in front of the side window in the Glenlivet Room.
Drinks Reception
The couple enjoyed a drinks reception in the cosy bar before we headed out to get group photos before sunset.

It was a classic clear sky ice cold day, and although we were super lucky with the weather, it was too cold to go far, so couple portraits were completed outside the front of One Devonshire Gardens as well as in the picturesque cobbled lane behind the Victorian property.
By the time we headed back to the front of the wedding venue, the light had dropped some more and the fairy lights around the trees were glowing, so we had time for one more photo before the main group photo of everyone.
