I had been wanting to shoot a wedding at Peckforton Castle for ages! When Lesley and Chris booked me to shoot their Peckforton Castle Fairytale Summer Wedding, I was really excited about the opportunity to work there! There are so many amazing features in the castle. One of my favourite locations for portraits inside the castle is the bay window in the ceremony room. Lesley and Chris loved it too, so we used this as a portrait location at dusk.
Peckforton Castle is quite a drive from my studio in Manchester city centre. I arrived early to find the ceremony room getting the finishing touches added. The room was adorned with ivory and pink flowers, fairy lights and pillar candles. Perfect for a fairytale castle wedding!

Bridal Preparations
Lesley spent the morning at the castle getting hair & make-up done, whilst watching guests arriving below. Here she makes an entrance in her stunning dress.
I love capturing natural, unposed moments like this. The photos tell more of a story of what happened, giving genuine moments to look back on.

How many flowers and candles can you fit on the register signing table? Lots! Bride and groom pose for a quick photo after signing the marriage register.

Lesley and Chris were to enjoy the wedding breakfast in the Hexagonal room at Peckforton Castle. A unique room with beautiful red sandstone walls and ceiling, it sits up to 100 guests.
