This cozy intimate autumn wedding at the Bothy in Ruthven Lane was a micro wedding and the couple had booked my 2-hour wedding photography package, which is perfect for micro weddings.
I arrived before the ceremony so that I could get a few candid photos of the bride arriving.
There was time for a quick photo at the entrance of the Bothy before we all went upstairs to the Scullery.
As the bride got to the end of the aisle, she gave her dad a big hug, before he shook the grooms hand and everyone took their seats. I love capturing as many natural moments as possible like this.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was a heartfelt religious ceremony delivered by church pastors from the couples local church.
Couple Portraits
After the wedding ceremony, the happy couple and I headed out for couple portraits in Victoria Crescent Lane. This is a leafy spot just a few minutes walk from the Bothy.
Wedding Party Group Photos
It was then back to the wedding venue for a few group photo combinations. I like to start with the ‘everyone’ photo first, as it’s much faster to work from largest to smallest rather than the other way around.
