On what I feel like was the hottest day ever in Scotland, I was at Fruin Farm to photograph a relaxed, fun and informal wedding.
Fruin Farm is situated in the foothills of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and offers a scenic and secluded space that is really easy to get to but feels like a quiet rural spot.
On arrival, I headed upstairs to the bridal suite where the bride was having the finishing touches applied to her make-up. There was time to capture a few details of the wedding dress and rings. When it comes to the dress, I tend not to move it and instead capture it as it is with some creative framing.
Wedding Ceremony
The couple was getting married in the barn area. With old stonework and contemporary wooden beams, it was a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding ceremony.
It was an emotional moment, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
The couple each read the vows they had written to each other.
The couple walk out of the barn to their guests showering them in confetti.
The couple and their guests then headed over to the lawn area in front of the farmhouse to enjoy drinks and canapes in the sun. I was able to get some natural, unposed photos of the couple as they were walking to the front on the farmhouse.
Wedding Photography Package
The couple chose my 3-hour coverage ‘wee wedding’ photography package and received 360 photos from their wedding day.
