The couple were planning a small and intimate wedding with close family so decided to book a coastal villa for their wedding. The villa, based in Innellan in Argyll near Dunoon, had a arbour in the gardens, which was a lovely spot for the couple to exchange vows.
The Villa
The couple had added wedding decor to the villa, and I was able to use the space for photos of the wedding dress, suits, and other details. The villa is called Acadia, and you can find it on Air BNB.
The couple had booked me for two hours of wedding photography coverage, but I arrived early so spent a bit of time doing a few arty shots of rings with the coastal views as the backdrop.
The Arbour
The Arbour had a really lovely cosy vibe. There was a couple of chandeliers, as well as ivory flower decorations.

Wedding Ceremony
The couple had booked a wedding celebrant for their wedding. It was a lovely and personal ceremony. Photographing the ceremony in an Arbour space was a new experience for me. There wasn’t much room as the space was quite compact, but it worked well. The chandelier lighting helped as without this, it would have been quite dark.

Group Photos
There was plenty of space for group photos, we used the front garden area with views of the river Clyde.
Couple Portraits
There was so many cute portrait locations at this villa. I wanted to make the most of all of it, not just the stunning front gardens with the coastal views of the river Clyde.
