This was the first wedding I’d photographed at the Lynnhurst Hotel. I absolutely loved how colourful the gardens were, and could totally see why the couple had chosen it. The colourful vibe matched their wedding styling perfectly.
The pop of colour in the flowers at the front of the building really added to that gorgeous blonde sandstone. When I had the venue visit with the clients, we decided to use both areas for the photos.

Couple Portraits
The couple wanted to use as many of the cute areas at the Lynnhurst Hotel as possible, and the weather was on our side! The brides bouquet matched the colourful gardens really well. The mini bridge area with fountain was a really cute spot for couple portraits.
We had time for a few playful couple portraits that matched the couples wedding theme.
Confetti
Confetti isn’t allowed at all venues, so as an alternative, the couple had guests wave colourful streamers. If your venue does not allow confetti, there are loads of other options to consider.
Lynnhurst Hotel Wedding Photography
The wedding photography coverage on this day was 1.5hrs, and covered ceremony, drinks reception, group photos and couple portraits. The couple received 300 photos in total.
This wedding day was part of a two-day wedding where the 2nd day was a couple shoot on Ardrossan beach.
