This wedding day was a short 1.5 hours of coverage micro-wedding at the gorgeous Number 10 Hotel in the Southside. From the 1.5 hours, the couple received 290 photos featuring their wedding ceremony, drinks reception, group photos and couple portraits.
I love the chair setup for the ceremony on this day. I was photographing this ceremony from the back of the room, but this set up meant I could see guests faces.
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony space at Number 10 Hotel is lovely. It features plenty of natural light, exposed beams and neutral decor.
Drinks Reception
There’s covered space outside the ceremony room, which is the perfect location for a drinks reception.
Just as we were about to start with group photos, the heavens opened and there was a torrential downpour. Pretty rare during a June wedding, as June is typically the driest month.
We switched things around a little, and the cake was cut under the shelter of the area outside the ceremony space.
Group Photos
The rain stopped as abruptly as it started, so were were able to get the group photos that the couple wanted.
Couple Portraits
Although the Number 10 Hotel venue is quite compact, there’s loads of wee areas that are cute for couple portraits. We started at the side of the house, and then used the back garden area. This venue is directly opposite Queens Park, so if you were planning to get married here, there’s loads more portrait options a short walk away.
There was just enough time to grab a quick photo of the wedding breakfast set-up before I wrapped up this wedding photography.
