Wedding Photography at The Corinthian Club

bride and groom have a couple portrait in the entrance of The Corinthian club on their wedding day

Hey! I'm Karen! I'm a wedding photographer based in Glasgow's west end and I specialise in natural, unobtrusive coverage of relaxed and informal weddings. I team this documentary coverage with as many group photos as you'd like with your friends and family, and a few creative portraits that will make the most of the light and the details of your chosen wedding venue. Every package includes a planning meeting and venue visit so that I can personalise your coverage to be the best fit for you and your unique wedding day.

Group Photo Locations

If you're considering getting married at The Corinthian Club, you may be wondering where you could have a big group photo of everyone? There's a couple of options. The stairs in the middle of the venue are a stunning space for a group photo of your guests, or we could use the lane at the side of the hotel. The space at the top of the main staircase is great for smaller group photos of friends and family.

The Flying Scotsman Room

The Flying Scotsman room has been specifically designed for weddings, featuring double height ceilings, corinthian style pillars, and a mezzanine level for the drinks reception. It's a beautiful neutral colour space that could be adorned in any colour or left as-is and still look amazing and wow guests. There's plenty of space for wedding ceremonies here, and the great thing about that is I'm able to quietly and discretely move during the wedding ceremony to get different angles for couples photos. The space at the far end can also be used for group photos, and is easily accessed from the mezzanine, saving guests having to move through the hotel.

191 Ingram St, Glasgow G1 1DA

Where's the best place to park if visiting The Corinthian Club?

The best carpark for The Corinthian club is Q-Park Candleriggs. It's always been clean and felt safe when I have visited and it is only a 7 minute walk away. Q-Park are a little more expensive, but well worth the extra cost. The closest carpark is 'The Glasshouse', an NCP on Glassford Street. I would not personally recommend it. Tip: If you do park there, don't bother trying to find the pay station. Paying on exit at the barrier is safer and less hassle. When exiting the car park, there is a bus lane immediately on your right, so you'll save yourself £30 by turning left as you exit. Ask me how I know. ;-) NCP Glassford Street has apparently won the 'peoples parking award'. I have found the entrances and exits gross and personally prefer to park on the street and get a ticket. Read the online reviews on Google before you park. If you drive a car that has been designed for off-roading, the NCP on Ingram street would be a better choice and the exciting off-roading experience is complemented with wall murals, which are a pleasant distraction from the state of it.
