My first wedding at this unique venue! I’ve been to the Lowry many times to visit exhibitions and see performances & loved the dramatic blocks of colour and that the space was filled with so much natural light, so I was eagerly awaiting Victoria & Josh’s wedding at the end of May!

We’d met at the venue and had a good look round to chat ideas for photo locations, and I told the couple about my ideas for portraits at dusk, after the sun had set, so we put a plan together. Victoria told me all about their plans for the ceremony, they’d opted to have the blinds lowered and have a candle lit ceremony for a real romantic intimate feel. The fairy lights on the ceiling would look great in this et up too. The blue of the bridesmaids dresses would work really well with the block colours in he venue, and on the day we shot those portraits outside as you can see in the gallery below.

The couple portraits were shot in a variety of locations, some of my favourites were the ones I shot on the tree lined walkway leading up to the Lowry.

It was an amazing day & I can’t wait to shoot there again!
